BALAYAGE

In French, the word balayage translates to “swept away” and was started in Paris in the 1970’s. As many of you know, it’s a freehand color technique that adds “natural-looking” lightening results. When done artistically by a real professional, the result shows no obvious lines of demarcation and can be as strong or subtle as preferred. When wanting the more dramatic fashion colors, this is the technique of choice by adding blues, reds, turquoise, etc. to the blonding. Highly recommended!
